“A Little Princess…it’s always tea-time… ” -Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
While this may be cappuccino country, and I know that it’s not quite Wonderland (thought it does pretty close), but regardless, I believe I’ve found what may be one of the best inventions known to the tea bag: the squeezable bag. Forget the wrapping the string around the spoon enough times and burning fingers on the hot water that the tea bag soaked up in an effort to get every last drop of it out. Instead, the tag separates into two parts, each attached to a string, and you pull on them and they squeeze the tea bag for you.
Okay, so I guess it’s not an absolute necessity to have a squeezable tea bag, but they are pretty cool: http://www.lipton.com/it_it/#LiptonYellowlabel-2,194. I’m surprised America hasn’t caught on yet.
